Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and deliver your tiles. This page explains what that is, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you ask for samples or a quote: your name, email address, phone number, delivery postcode or address, and what you tell us about your project. When you order: the same, plus the invoice address and a record of what you bought. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider and never reach our systems.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, post samples, send quotes, take payment, deliver and support your order, and keep the records the law requires (HMRC requires sales records to be kept for six years). The legal basis is performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering a request you made. We do not add you to marketing lists and we do not sell or share your details for marketing.

Who sees it

Our email provider, our payment provider, and the pallet courier who delivers your order (name, address and phone number only). Each processes data on our instructions and is based in the UK or the EU, or covered by UK adequacy arrangements.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 12 months. Order records are kept for six years for tax purposes, then deleted.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address as part of serving the font files.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@masterbuildmason.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
